My Story
My love for graphic design started at the age of sixteen, putting my creativity to work, from that point forward it was clear where my career was headed. Graduating from Gibbs College in 2003 sealed the deal and I was on my way to let my creative juices flow. Over the past several years, I have helped develop brand identities ranging from luxury brands to non-profit.
My experience ranges from designing catalogs, direct mailers, advertisements, product packaging, in-store signage and UX & UI, just to name a few. Understanding the importance of the long-term vision of a company and how to accurately and consistently reflect that message, in all visual and written communications is key throughout my designs.

Fun Facts
FACT 1 - One thing that always surprises people is when I tell them that I'm Portuguese. My parents are native to Portugal, and even though I was born in the U.S., I enjoy visiting Portugal when I can and being immersed in the Portuguese culture.
FACT 2 - When I'm not designing, I like to go cycling. I became an avid cyclist within the last six years. Since then I love hitting the pavement and riding for miles. One of my current favorite routes is cycling from Danbury to Westport, when I get the chance.
FACT 3 - Ever since I was a kid, I've been obsessed with LEGO. I tend to go a little crazy with buying new sets, but it allows me to bond with my three old son, Oliver, who also loves to build and be creative.
FACT 4 - Lastly, I can be a perfectionist — not only in making sure that something is visually perfect, but also in life in general.
